Introduction to the installation of a Cluster platform¶
The Cluster architecture of CyberElements Bastion consists of three roles:
- The
Mediation Controllerserver that assigns and controls access permissions to managed resources. - The
Edge Gatewayserver that acts as a “passive” network gateway to managed resources. This server generates session recordings before storage. - The
HTML5 Gatewayserver that is a gateway used for an access without agent on the user side by converting RDP, SSH, and VNC protocols to web flows.
Note
This last server can be deployed on the same machine as the Edge Gateway server.
Cluster architecture typically consists of:
- Two
Mediation Controllerservers (mandatory) - Two
Edge Gatewayservers combining theHTML5 Gatewayrole
