Association of domains

The Association of domains module lets an administrator link an authentication domain declared in CyberElements Bastion to a domain declared in Systancia Gate. This association is used to display the applications of both products in a unified portal: each application remains subject to its own access profile in the originating product.

The main screen lists the existing associations as a paginated grid. While no association exists, the grid reads No available association.

Column Description
Name Combined label of the associated Bastion domain and Systancia Gate domain.

Prerequisite — Association of organisations

The Association of domains module only appears in the Configurations plan once an association of organisations has been created from the system console. Without it, the feature stays invisible.

Add a domain association

  1. Click the + button in the toolbar.
  2. The Creation of associations of domains window opens. It first recalls to select a Bastion domain and a Systancia Gate domain to associate, then shows two grids side by side.
  3. Select a domain in the Name of Bastion domain grid (left).
  4. Select a domain in the Name of Systancia Gate domain grid (right).
  5. Click Associate. The pair is added to the bottom grid, and both source domains are removed from their respective grids — a domain can therefore only be associated once.
  6. Repeat steps 3 to 5 to add further associations in the same session.
  7. Click Validate to save the new associations.
Item Description
Name of Bastion domain Grid listing the Bastion domains not yet associated. When empty, it reads No domain available in Bastion.
Name of Systancia Gate domain Grid listing the Systancia Gate domains not yet associated. When empty, it reads No domain available in Systancia Gate.

Bastion domain - Systancia Gate domain Column of the bottom grid, which gathers the associations of the session before validation.

Delete a domain association

Select one or several rows in the main grid then click the × button. Deletion asks for confirmation. Multi-selection is supported.

There is no edit action: an association is deleted, then created again.

Filtering the list

The toolbar exposes a search field (top right) that filters the list by substring of the name. The search fires 700 ms after the last keystroke or immediately with Enter. Pagination offers 15, 25 or 50 rows per page (default 15).
