Introduction to installing a Standalone platform¶
The Standalone architecture of CyberElements Bastion consists of three servers:
- A
Mediation Controllerserver that assigns and controls access permissions to managed resources. - A
Edge Gatewayserver that acts as a “passive” network gateway to managed resources. This server generates session recordings before storage. - A
HTML5 Gatewayserver that acts as a gateway for a web access without agent on the user side by converting RDP, SSH, and VNC protocols into web flows.
Note
This last server can be deployed on the same machine as the Edge Gateway server.
