SSH servers

The SSH servers module declares the SSH machines Bastion may target. Each entry holds the identity of the machine, its network address, its video-retention policy and two session options (command at launch, file transfer). A machine declared here becomes available in the SSH direct recording configurations.

The screen says machine

The module is titled SSH servers, but its windows, messages and confirmations speak of machines: it is the same object.

Machine list

Column Description
Name Name of the machine.
Address or name IP address or FQDN of the targeted machine.
Notification text Message shown to the user after authentication.

As long as no machine is declared, the grid shows No available machine. The search field, whose placeholder is Search, filters the list 700 ms after the last keystroke, or immediately with Enter; its cross clears the filter. The grid footer offers an Items per page: selector set to 15, 25 or 50.

The toolbar carries three actions, whose tooltips are New machine, Properties (single selection) and Delete (multiple selection allowed). Double-clicking a row is equivalent to Properties.
