Legal disclaimer¶
The Legal disclaimer module lets you customise the disclaimer text shown on the CyberElements user portal sign-in screen. An administrator uses it to align that text with their organisation's legal policy, translate it or shorten it.
A note at the top of the window recalls that these disclaimers are displayed on the user portal sign-in interface and that, unless they are changed, the default values are used.
Supported languages¶
The form provides a separate input area for five languages, each identified by the matching flag, in this order:

Each area is capped at 512 characters. A default text is supplied at install time for each language.
Edit the disclaimers¶
- Enter or edit the text for the desired language(s).
- Click Validate to save.
All texts are saved in a single operation, even if only one language was changed, then the window closes.
Display on the portal
The text shown to the end user follows the user portal language. These five languages are the only ones served: when no language is passed, English is used.
