Toolbox¶
The Toolbox module makes the installation programs of CyberElements clients and add-ons hosted locally on the server available for download, together with the resources published by the platform. An administrator uses it to quickly retrieve the agent to install on a target workstation, the network filtering agent to deploy on an application server or a browser add-on, without going through an external download.
The window header recalls that The documentation of the tools is available online from the following link: and shows the address https://docs.cyberelements.io/. Three tabs follow.
The first two grids share the same columns:
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | Name of the program, which also acts as the download link, followed by its description on the line below. |
| Size | File size, in KB, MB or GB depending on its volume. |
| Creation date | Date of the file on the server. |
Swapped tabs
The content of the first two tabs does not match their titles: the installation programs are listed under Integration tools, and the two utilities under Add-ons.
This tab lists the installation programs and add-ons to deploy on workstations, servers and browsers:
| Displayed name | File |
|---|---|
| CyberElements Client installation program | setup_cyberelements_Client.exe |
| Setup CyberElements Agent | setup_cyberelementsAgent.exe |
| Mac Os client installation program | IPdivaClient.dmg |
| VPN component for Mac Os | IPdivaVPN.pkg |
| ACM agent installation program | setup_ACM_Agent.exe |
| Linux network filtering agent (RPM) | .rpm package |
| Linux network filtering agent (DEB) | .deb package |
| CyberElements SSO Configurator for Firefox | SsoConfigurator_firefox.xpi |
| CyberElements SSO Configurator for Chrome | SsoConfigurator_chrome.zip |
This tab offers two Windows utilities:
| Displayed name | Purpose | File |
|---|---|---|
| Compute MD5 checksum | Computes the MD5 checksum of Windows files. | IPdivaMd5Viewer.exe |
| Read serial number | Prints the serial number of the hard drive. | IPdivaHddViewer.exe |
A SaaS-only tab. It lists the downloadable resources published by the platform — virtual appliance images in particular — with the Name, Description and Download columns, the last one carrying the link.
Where the packages come from
The installation programs are stored locally on the CyberElements server and refreshed on every installation or upgrade of the solution. The size and date of each file are requested from the server when the module opens; the list in the Downloads tab is provided dynamically by the platform.
