Users without recording¶
The Users without recording module lets an administrator designate the accounts for which CyberElements sessions will produce no live video and no recorded video. The sessions of these users are not visible in the Control center.
By default the list is empty: any user starting an application is recorded and the recording can be reviewed by administrators. Adding an account to this list disables recording for that user.
The screen displays a paginated grid listing the accounts already designated.
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| ID | Account name. |
| Domain | Authentication domain the account belongs to, resolved from the list of available domains. |
Both columns are sortable.
Add a user without recording¶
- Click the + button in the toolbar (tooltip Add a user to the list of unregistered users).
- Fill in the form then click Validate.
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| ID | Account name as it exists in the domain. Cannot be made up of whitespace only. |
| Domain | Non-editable drop-down list of the available authentication domains. Anonymous directories are not proposed. Mandatory — a domain is preselected when the form opens. |
Filtering the list
The toolbar exposes a search field (top right) that filters the list by substring of the name. Search is triggered 700 ms after the last keystroke or immediately with Enter. Pagination offers 15, 25 or 50 rows per page (default 15).
Account already listed
An account already present in the list with the same domain is rejected: the message The user already exists is displayed and nothing is added.
Delete a user without recording¶
Select one or more rows in the list then click the × button. Deletion asks for confirmation. Multi-selection is supported.
Consequence of removal
Once removed from this list, the user falls back to standard recording: their sessions are captured again and viewable in the Control center.
Delegated administration
A delegated administrator sees the whole list, but can only add or delete accounts on the domains they hold a permission for. Accounts outside their scope are rejected and listed in an error message.
